Irrespective of any species, happiness is what any living being desire for. If you observe any human being across globe through-out the day they are doing anything for just one reason i.e. HAPPINESS. At the same time none of the humans wish to have worry, nervousness etc.

 

Do you agree if you have something that you don’t desire is a DIESEASE?

I am sure your answer is yes. The same goes for Anxiety. I am sure no human being would be interested to feel anxious. Still many of us do experience the same.

 

Let’s first understand what is anxiety?

Anxiety is a feeling of worry, nervousness, or unease about something with uncertain outcome.

 

What happens when you are anxious? Anxiety presents itself in many different ways…

 

5 points to happiness by overcoming anxiety.

Usually people take the easy way i.e. taking medicines prescribed by a psychiatrist. I personally I feel if you take care of few things well in advance then you can ensure that you don’t have to visit a psychiatrist for such recommendations. Let’s understand the 5 points to achieve happiness by overcoming anxiety.

 

1.       Read good self-help books focused on thoughts management: Since ages books are great source of learning’s for almost any subject. Unfortunately, in spite of knowing this many people hardly read even a single book after their formal education. Ideally one should read at least one book every month. If you read just 15 minutes every day you can achieve this. While reading a book you can consider this video to ensure amazing results for yourself:

                    

2.       Walking & Exercise: It’s important to keep your body fit as your mind and body has a very strong connect with each other. Chances of having anxiety increases with your body weight & poor fitness. One should regularly exercise and do walking as it helps you to release toxics from your body and keep you fit. This reduces the level of anxiety. Ideally you should consult a professional to identify your workout regime that fits your body.

 

3.       Not everything in life can be controlled, accept it: One of the biggest blunders we do is to control everything in our life. Life is always full of surprises. You never know what’s there on your way next. There are things that come in our way which are beyond your control. If you don’t learn the art of accepting the same, you will face the challenges related to anxiety.

 

In this context I would like to refer to a letter written by Shrimad Rajchandra ji to someone where he answered this question. His suggestion was to think, analyse and implement on a statement given by him. The statement was:

 

It’s not worth it to worry when there is no solution to a problem.

 

This statement might sound very simple, yet it’s very powerful. Long back I was also experiencing extreme anxiety. I was able to overcome the same with this statement primarily.

What I did was, I kept on applying this statement in different circumstances of my life and checked if this statement is really true. Almost after practicing for 6 months, I felt a gradual decrease in my anxiety level.

You should remember there is no MAGIC PILL. It takes time and with consistent practice, you can overcome such challenges in life.
